Senior embedded Software Engineer

We are working alongside a growing medical device start up as they continue on the journey to bringing their main project to market while also looking to the future of expanding their portfolio out. This is a fantastic role for someone who has ambitions to lead their own project in the near future while also being a critical component in helping them get the original over the line.

You will be working directly with the CTO, Other lead Engineers and liasing heavily with Quality and Hardware teams in collaberation to ensure the success of both future projects and current objectives. This is a well structured start-up with many clear processes and procedures in place while also welcoming those who have knowledge in how things could either be improved or did better. This is a hybrid role, depending on what stage of the project you're in and ow much hardware is involved you are only needed in the office when required.

The main responsabilities of this role will be to demonstrate your expertise in Embedded software/Firmware development incorporating principles such as Communication protocols, BLE and Wifi and RTOS.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience working in embedded systems/Firmware
• Mainly Embedded C exepreince but C++ is good to have
• Good hands on exeprience with RTOS
• Experience with Communication protocols such as UART, CAN, I2C and SPI
• Expereince with the medical device industry is good to have but not essential. Other Regulatory experience is beneficial
